Statement by Parliamentarians
Senate: The Speaker recognizes senators in succession, taking into consideration the representation of the parties in the Senate. Senators are allotted up to three minutes for statements.
House of Commons: The Speaker recognizes up to 15 MPs in succession, taking into consideration the representation of the parties in the House. MPs are allotted one minute for statements.
