Note: Women were given the right to run as candidates in federal elections in 1920 under An Act respecting the Election of Members of the House of Commons and the Electoral Franchise (short title "Dominion Elections Act"), S.C. 1920, c. 46, s. 38, assented to on July 1, 1920.
