The material has been obtained from the Debates of the Senate and the House of Commons, from the Journals of both Houses, from the explanatory notes to the Bills, and from the Statutes. The information is presented by session in the following format: the title of the Act and chapter number, the date of Royal Assent, the sponsor, the bill number, and its purpose. This list does not include divorce bills.
